you know, i'm something of a webslinger myself.
my hidden passion for web design and html/css coding really stemmed from my days on tumblr from around 2014-2017 - circa my middle school years (actually no middle schooler should have been on tumblr)
jokes aside, all my after-school hours spent scrolling through tumblr inspired me to put together my own personalized blog theme.i even did one of my middle school projects around making a tumblr blog specifically to learn html coding.
i'm currently in this weird love-hate relationship with social media, so discovering neocities almost felt like the answer to my needs, sort of an escape from the social media hell we're in right now.
the best part of coming back to site customization in my 20s is that i get to join in on the fun that everyone had in the early 2000s with their custom myspace profiles and blogs. roll the credits
